Carried out by students at the end of the engineering cycle, the Young Expert Assigment (YEA), Mission Jeunes Experts (MJE) in French, is a pedagogical exercise carried out by 10 future engineers in international agro-development from ISTOM. This expertise, which is carried out over a year and a half, begins at the end of our 3rd year and ends at the beginning of our 5th year of study. The entire YEA is supervised by an ISTOM teacher-researcher. 

 

Every year since 2010, about ten groups are deployed in tropical countries to carry out professional-level junior expertise on behalf of various backers such as NGOs, companies, cooperatives, local authorities, research organisations, etc.
